Ask Sam - Question:
Answer:
Hi
Sixth Form studies to "A" Level (5 GCSE) or advanced level (4 GCSE) will require GCSE C grade or above. Further Education Colleges usual entry criteria as follows: entry to Employment (E2e) for those who obtain F-G (and are unsure of vocation and want to try different craft skills be that construction, hairdressing etc) or have been unable to sit examinations at school, Foundation for those with GCSE @ E-F grade, Intermediate for those with 3-4 GCSE at grade D and apprenticeship 3 GCSE @ C grade and above. Better the grades the higher one can start, this saves study time at college (a motivating factor so keep on studying at school). Regards Sam - If you can let me know your name I can pass to PA who works in your school to follow up with you.
